DIYideas… Hambly Rub-Ons

May 11, 2009 § Leave a comment

Hambly Rub-Ons … a cheap way to bring you pleasure (sounds like the beginning of a bad joke). What are they? Well, they’re rub-ons. Remember transfers? They came in Cracker Jack Boxes and the like. Hambly is a well-established business with a solid history, smartly adjusting with the times and changing their design output with trends. And they’re still going strong.

The Rub-Ons can be put on just about anything – paper, china, fabric, furniture! (Now, whether or not they come off… be careful.)

I really dig the idea that they go on china and fabric, though. Envision – cheap pillows turned adorable. Customized soap bottles. Wine glasses.

Check out some of my favorite designs and ideas… now, parts of some of these sheets I do not really like, so I would pick and choose the parts I wanted and probably discard the rest or save it for another project.
